Michael Petchokvsky, who has been working with us throughout the project on the flight system and other things, has snuck something brilliant into our payload. He has turned a Raspberry Pi computer into a broadcast transmitter and added a beautiful looking Russian Constructivist-inspired cardboard antennae that beam’s the signal into the ether. Our sound ship will be transmitting on 434.67 MHz. Who knows who might be listening somewhere in the world; perhaps they are decoding the slow scan TV images his system is broadcasting.
